The Jefferson County boys’ basketball team wasn’t at full strength Thursday night.
One starter was out sick. Another starter played while sick.
It didn’t stop the Patriots.
Junior forward Kobe Parker shook off some illness and scored 19 points as the Patriots beat host Christian Academy of Knoxville, 51-46, in the 5Star Preps Classic.
