High school football was the focus Wednesday as 5Star Preps hosted its second annual Preseason Kickoff Event at Main Event Knoxville.
One of the hot subjects percolating among coaches and players was the impending Aug. 22 showdown featuring two-time defending state 4A champion Greeneville at Powell in the season opener.
The Greene Devils are riding a 30-game winning streak and the Panthers are expected to compete for the 5A state title this season.
