SEVIERVILLE — What a night of baseball it was in Sevierville on Friday night, as Pigeon Forge and Sevierville battled it out in a pitchers duel of Division I arms.
Dylan Loy, a left-handed senior and Tennessee signee, threw a complete game and fanned 17 in the 1-0 win for Pigeon Forge.
Sevier County countered with Campbell signee Andrew Moore, and he allowed just one hit and one earned run over six innings of work, striking out 12. Drew Mattox, a senior and Tennessee Tech signee threw one inning for Sevier County and allowed no hits and struck out two.
