Over the last decade, more than a dozen TSSAA state baseball championships have been won by teams from the 5Star Preps coverage area.
Last year, two area teams even squared off in a season finale for a title — Gibbs winning Class AA over Pigeon Forge.
Despite all the long-time success, East Tennessee baseball often gets slept on for its prowess and deep pool of prospects.
So make sure you don’t get caught snoozing.
The Greater Knoxville Area has upwards around 20 Division I baseball signees/commitments and more slated to commit soon.
