There were plenty of Knoxville-area colors flying when the TSSAA Division I boys’ soccer tournaments finished in late May last year at Murfreesboro’s Richard Siegel Soccer Complex.
Bearden won the Class AAA state championship with South-Doyle winning the Class AA state title and Gatlinburg-Pittman taking home the Class A title.
Also reaching the Class AA final eight in Murfreesboro were Greeneville, Alcoa, and Cocke County, while other teams from the 5Star Preps coverage area were eliminated in region semifinals or state sectionals (rounds-of-16).
