High School track and field appears to be as strong as ever in the 5Star Preps coverage area.
Several individuals and teams are already off to fast starts across East Tennessee as the track and field season points to the state championships in May in Murfreesboro.
Here are some key dates to remember:
May 2-3: KIL Championship at Hardin Valley
May 11: Class A East Sectional at Jefferson County
May 14: Class AA East Sectional at Knoxville (UT)
May 14: Section 1-AAA at Hardin Valley
May 24-26: TSSAA State Championships at MTSU
