BAXTER, Tennessee — Alcoa quarterback Walker Russell ran for two touchdowns and threw for another in leading the Tornadoes to a 27-14 victory over Upperman on Friday night in the Class 3A semifinals at Billy C. Rogers Stadium.
The win gives Alcoa a chance to claim a TSSAA all-time high 17th state championship and fourth consecutive state crown.
