COACH OF THE YEAR
RUSTY BISHOP, Grainger
Bishop led Grainger to the program’s first-ever appearance in a state championship game, winning District 2-AA and Region 1-AA championships along the way. The Lady Grizzlies went 35-4, losing to three Class AAA state powers and then in the Class AA championship to Macon County.

Denae Fritz (Maryville, senior): The Iowa State signee, Class AAA Miss Basketball and 5SP Player of the Year averaged 19.5 points, 9.5 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game. She led Maryville to the state semifinals.
Tessa Miller (Stone Memorial, senior): A Belmont signee and Class AAA Miss Basketball finalist averaged 19.4 points, 10.2 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.4 blocks for state sectionalist Stone Memorial (24-6).
Khamari Mitchell-Steen (Oak Ridge, senior): The Northern Kentucky signee and District 3-AAA MVP led the Lady Wildcats (21-5) with 25.6 points, 9.5 rebounds, 5.2 steals and 3.5 assists per game.
Jordaynia Ivie (Lakeway Christian, senior): The UNC-Asheville signee earned Division II-A Miss Basketball this season with 16.8 points, 6.0 rebounds, 4.7 assists and 3.1 steals per game.
Tori Rutherford (Grainger, senior): The District 2-AA MVP, Carson-Newman signee and all-state guard helped steer Grainger (35-4) to the state final in Class AA with 11.5 points, 5.1 rebounds, 4.3 steals, 3.9 assists and 1.0 blocks per game.
Campbell Penland (Northview Academy, senior): The District 3-AA MVP, Carson-Newman signee and all-state guard led NVA to the state semifinals in Class AA with 18.0 points, 6.3 rebounds, 5.2 assists and 3.0 steals per game.
Sydney Mains (Catholic, freshman): Mains led Catholic to the Division II-AA state championship game, averaging 19.5 points, 8.5 rebounds, 3.1 steals and 1.3 blocks per game, pumping in 35 percent of her 3-point attempts.
SECOND TEAM

Jennifer Sullivan (Bearden, junior): Sullivan really came on strong in the second half of the season and helped Bearden to a 30-2 record with 11.3 points, 4.2 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.8 steals per game.
Reagan Trumm (Powell, junior): One of the top scorers around, Trumm expanded her skill set this season. The Western Carolina commit averaged 22.6 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.7 steals per game.
Maggie Vick (Lakeway Christian, senior): The 6-4 post, Iowa State signee and Miss Basketball finalist averaged 13.9 points, 8.8 rebounds and 1.7 blocks per game for the Lakeway Lions.
Avery Strickland (Farragut, junior): The West Virginia commitment, Strickland led Farragut with 17.8 points, 6.1 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 2.1 steals per game.
Avery Treadwell (Bearden, sophomore): The 6-3 post was a mismatch nightmare for District 4-AAA opponents and Treadwell feasted with 14.6 points, 10.7 rebounds and 1.8 blocks per game.
Gracie Midkiff (Maryville, senior): The Carson-Newman signee is one of the area’s top shooters and most creative passers. Midkiff averaged 15 points and four assists per game while knocking down 45 percent of her 3s.
Zneyah McLaughlin (Bearden, senior): Full of speed and relentless energy, McLaughlin helped Bearden reach the Class AAA state tournament with 12.4 points, 5.2 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.6 steals per game.
THIRD TEAM

Karli Haworth (Alcoa, sophomore): The District 4-AA MVP and All-Region 2-AA performer helped guide the Lady Tornadoes to the Class AA state sectionals with 12.0 points, 3.4 assists and 2.7 steals per game.
Terryauna Griffin (South-Doyle, junior): An unheralded scorer, Griffin averaged 24.6 points, 4.8 rebounds, 4.6 steals and 2.0 blocks per game. She set the single-game school record with 54 points on Nov. 19, 2020.
Catherine Hendershott (First Baptist Academy, senior): The 5-9 guard posted big numbers in her final prep season to the tune of 24 points, eight rebounds, four assists and three steals per game.
Aaliyah Vananda (Maryville, senior): The East Tennessee State signee came up big in the postseason again and helped Maryville reach the Class AAA state semifinals with 11 points, 3.5 assists and 3.5 steals per game.
Lauren Bailey (Greeneville, sophomore): Bailey followed up her strong freshman campaign with yet another stellar season in 2020-21: 18 points, 7.5 rebounds, three steals and two assists per game.
Lauren Longmire (Grainger, senior): A Milligan University signee and all-state forward, Longmire helped Grainger reach the Class AA state championship game with 11.8 points, 4.6 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game.
Maci Pitner (Seymour, senior): The District 2-AAA MVP and Bryan College signee pumped in 18.3 points per game, adding 3.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 2.5 steals per game. She shot 41 percent from the 3-point line.
Lexi Patty (Heritage, senior): The seasoned Heritage guard, along with Katlin Burger, made Heritage a tough out. Patty averaged 15.2 points, 5.1 rebounds, 3.1 steals and 2.3 assists per game. She made 48 3s and shot 84 percent at the foul line.
