CLINTON — The start was slower than expected and there were way too many penalties, but all things considered the beat went on for Anderson County in its cross-country rivalry with Clinton Thursday night.
The Mavericks (4-0), ranked No. 2 in Class 4A, cruised to a 55-21 win over the 5A Dragons (1-2) at Anderson County to extend their winning streak to 10 games in a row in the heated series.
