CLINTON — With a comfortable victory in the quarterfinals of the Region 2-3A boys basketball tournament, Anderson County is one game away from doing something it hasn’t done in a long time.
“We have not played a region final in over 40 years,” coach Jordan Jeffers said.
The Mavericks are another step closer after defeating Seymour 85-68 at home on Saturday.
Of course, playing in a region final would also mean a chance after that to play for a state tournament berth.
