It’s playoff time, so Anderson County knows the difficulty factor of running the gauntlet.
Breeze to a win in the opening round of the Class 4A playoffs and then try and solve the Region 1 conundrum, right?
The Mavericks have been eliminated from the playoffs by upper East Tennessee powers Elizabethton or Greeneville the last five seasons.
AC (11-0) tests the Region 1 waters once again at 7 Friday night when the Mavs host Elizabethton (6-4) in the second round of the playoffs.
The teams are well familiar with each other.
