Bearden’s baseball team ended a long losing streak against rival Farragut on Monday night.
How long was the losing streak?
Bearden coach Dave Prichard didn’t know.
“I have no idea,” Prichard said. “I’ve been here two years. We take it one day at a time.”
Bearden senior pitcher Braden Suggs didn’t know either.
“I have no idea,” Suggs said, “but I think it was like 8 years ago.”
Not quite.
