Bearden’s basketball team got a big road win Tuesday night thanks to its defense – and some help from West High.
The Bulldogs (12-0, 2-0 in District 4-4A) held the Rebels to a season-low point total in a 64-56 victory at West.
“I thought we guarded admirably,” Bearden coach Jeremy Parrott said. “It was close to what we want defensively. Offensively, I felt like we made too many mistakes. We should feel fortunate to win that game because we didn’t make enough winning plays, but we just happened to have a few more points at the end.”
