The Bearden football team kept putting its 0-5 start in the rearview mirror Friday night.
The Bulldogs turned three blocked punts into 21 points on their way to a 42-22 victory over visiting Jefferson County.
Bearden (2-5, 2-1 in Region 1-6A) posted its second consecutive region victory after a 34-28 win at Hardin Valley Academy last Thursday.
It has the Bulldogs back in the playoff hunt.
