Say this for the Bearden girls’ basketball team: the Lady Bulldogs aren’t afraid to topple a few Goliaths every now and again when the opportunities arise.
Back in February, they stunned Ensworth in Nashville, stopping the Lady Tigers’ 60-game win streak.
And this week, Bearden downed nationally ranked Montverde Academy, a Florida-based school chock full of Top 100 players and also the No. 3 team in the country.
