Bearden senior Drew Pember was psyched when he learned of his team’s defensive game plan for Tuesday night’s home game against Maryville.
The 6-foot-10 wing/forward got the assignment of guarding junior point guard Joe Anderson, who’s averaging 20 points per game and shooting 45 percent from 3-point range this season.
Pember, who has signed with Tennessee, was up to the task.
