Alcoa football standout Isiah Cox, on the first two plays of the game against Dobyns-Bennett, made his presence immediately felt Thursday night as one of the top prospects in the state from the Class of 2021.
But the standout wideout/defensive back spent the rest of the game relegated to the sideline with an undisclosed injury to, what looked to be, an upper extremity.
No matter.
Fellow seniors Brayden Anderson and Grey Carroll had his back.
