The way his second half went Friday night, it’s no wonder Brayden Latham wouldn’t remove his helmet following West’s 40-21 win over Farragut.
The senior tailback looked like he wanted to play a doubleheader.
And he probably could have. Even after rushing for 172 yards in the third quarter alone, Latham played reps as an outside linebacker for West in the fourth.
“I play where they need me,” Latham said with a smile painted on his face, his chin strap still buckled.
“I play wherever West needs me.”
