Christian Academy doesn’t have the pass-happy philosophy of teams from state championship years past.
These Warriors just grind you down on offense and rely on an opportunistic defense.
But, oh yeah, CAK showed it can still sling it down the field when needed Friday against visiting Chattanooga Notre Dame.
Junior running back J.D. Dunn ran for three touchdowns and fast-improving sophomore quarterback Thomas Simpson passed for three more as the Warriors ran past the Fighting Irish 45-13.
