Caroline Meyers wasn’t about to give up Friday night.

The Lady Warriors rallied from a 14-point third-quarter deficit and posted a 45-44 victory over visiting Webb School of Knoxville.
“I never thought that we were going to lose,” said Meyers, CAK’s senior center. “I always knew this game was ours. I knew going into halftime, (coach) Abby’s (Williams) thing is halftime talks.
“We had to get the energy right and calm the nerves because everybody gets nervous when it’s Webb. It’s a just a big rivalry game and it’s an intense game and it’s physical. We had to get our composure and focus.”
