The Christian Academy of Knoxville girls’ basketball team has faced plenty of hurdles this season.
Few if any were bigger than Friday afternoon’s Division II-A state quarterfinal against visiting Providence Christian Academy of Murfreesboro.
The Lady Lions featured senior guard and Miss Basketball finalist Daisy Gale along with 6-1 sophomore Kayte Madison Bjornstad and 6-2 freshman Gabby DeBord in the frontcourt.
