Coach Ricky Norris ripped into his Webb School of Knoxville boys’ basketball team at halftime Tuesday night.
The Spartans trailed visiting Cookeville by nine points, and Norris and his staff were not happy.
“We challenged them probably the hardest we’ve challenged them all year at halftime,” Norris said, “and to be honest, I was a little bit worried about how we would respond because we’re a young team and I don’t know if we have the trust built up yet like older teams do.
“I was incredibly proud of how they responded in the second half.”
