MORRISTOWN – After being tested to the limit the last two seasons by Morristown West, this time it was all Greeneville Friday night at Burke-Toney Stadium.
The Greene Devils, who eked out wins by six and seven points the last two years against the Trojans, jumped on Morristown West early and never let up in scoring a convincing 42-6 knockout.
“It has been a dogfight every year we come down here,” said Greeneville coach Eddie Spradlen.
“The old timers remember what this series was like, but a lot of the young kids don’t know how big this game is.”
