As the clock rolled under four minutes on Friday night at Central High School, senior Demetrien Johnson leaned up against a fence behind the Bobcats’ bench.
“It’s over,” he repeated, to no one in particular.
The Bobcats’ run in the Class 5A playoffs remains very much alive, thanks in no small part to Johnson, who delivered big play after big play on both sides of the ball in the Bobcats’ 23-12 victory over previously undefeated David Crockett.
