Senior middle hitter Ellie Murrell recalls joining Clinton’s volleyball team as a freshman for the 2021 season when the Lady Dragons were more accustomed to losing than winning.
Oh, how times have changed during Murrell’s four years with the team.
Clinton (23-7, 8-0 in District 3-AAA) remained atop the district standings Tuesday night with a 3-0 victory at Karns.
The Lady Dragons are defending district champions, going 12-0 last year.
“It’s big considering we started from so little,” Murrell said.
