MORRISTOWN – They’re one of the top tandems in East Tennessee.
Juniors Micah Simpson and Braden Ilic are the yin and yang of Morristown East high school basketball.
“Braden and Micah are both great individual talents who have played at the top levels of AAU and have the ability to play with anybody in the area,” said East coach Alden Collins.
“Those two pave the way for the team as competitive leaders. They both have high ceilings and aspirations to go play at the next level.”
The Hurricanes came alive late Tuesday night to put away Hamblen County rival Morristown West 58-36 at the East gym.
