Concord Christian School can put plenty of talent on the volleyball court.
It’s the intangibles of the 2020 Lady Lions’ team that appear to make it a special group.
“We have really great chemistry,” said middle hitter/blocker Mikayla Profeta, the only senior on the team. “We’re all good friends. We’re really close and we all love each other and fight for each other. It’s awesome.”
They showed the fight Tuesday night, posting a 25-18, 25-16, 25-21 victory over visiting Christian Academy of Knoxville in a Division II-A District 1 match.
