ALCOA – Add another chapter to Cosby’s storybook girls’ soccer season.
Junior striker Leah Murray scored two goals as the Lady Eagles stunned host Alcoa 3-2 Thursday night in the Region 1-A championship match.
Cosby (14-4-1) was playing in its first region final and will play its first state sectional match Saturday at home against Cumberland Gap, the Region 2-A runner-up.
