While Shelley Collier had the locker room floor and ample time to speak, she didn’t have much to say.
So the Webb School girls basketball coach sent the Lady Spartans back out on the court with six minutes left in the halftime break of their Division II-A East Region tournament home semifinal game against The King’s Academy on Friday.
Collier’s lengthy list of playing priorities had been followed so dutifully that the Lady Spartans took a 25-point lead into the break after limiting TKA to eight first-half points. Their play left Collier pretty much speechless.
