SWEETWATER – Carson Hicks is out to prove the doubters wrong while making up for lost time.
Hicks missed his sophomore season with an ACL injury and was a backup last season as the Wildcats finished 28-3 after a loss to Chattanooga Brainerd in the Region 3-AA semifinals.
But on Friday, the senior point guard at Sweetwater played the entire game during a 61-55, double-overtime victory against Kingston in a non-district game.
