ALCOA – Eli Graf didn’t let a costly fumble get him down Thursday night.
Alcoa’s senior quarterback ran for three touchdowns and threw a touchdown pass during a 31-13 victory over visiting Greeneville.
Graf lost a fumble at Alcoa’s 35-yard line with 4 minutes, 29 seconds left in the second quarter, and Greeneville scored five plays later for a 13-7 lead.
“He doesn’t go over there and feel sorry for himself,” Alcoa coach Brian Nix said. “That’s the mark of leadership, right? He jumps right back and goes on defense and plays (cornerback).”
