As Alcoa junior Eli Graf hauled in an interception late in the fourth quarter Friday night against the West Rebels, you couldn’t help but think about his moment — heck, his game, really — of redemption.
A season ago against West, the all-purpose back threw a properly thrown ball into the end zone that was remarkably intercepted and allowed the Rebels to escape Blount County with a 29-26 victory en route to a 15-0 season.
This time around, Graf’s fingerprints were all over Alcoa’s 24-7 victory in Knoxville.
