FARRAGUT — Emma MacTavish was her usual steady-as-a-rock self on Wednesday as she pitched Farragut to the Region 2-AAAA softball championship.
MacTavish went the distance, checking Heritage on five hits, striking out six and walking two as defending state champion Farragut (38-3-1) pinned a 4-0 loss on visiting Heritage (21-13).
Both teams are still alive and advance to sectional play this weekend.
