Between the end of the 2021 high school football regular season and New Year’s Day, some 10 head-football-coaching changes took place from within the 5Star Preps coverage area.
No. 11 came on Monday.
Philip Shadowens resigned as head football coach at William Blount High School, as first reported by the Maryville Daily Times.
Shadowens spoke with 5Star Preps on Monday afternoon about his seven-year run with the Governors, why he’s resigning and also about the program’s future.
