The Farragut girls’ soccer team was fine with 1-1 tie Tuesday night.
Not so for visiting Hardin Valley Academy.
Farragut’s defensive strategy worked almost to perfection.
“We can’t make excuses for how we play,” HVA coach Jessie Stephens said. “They had a game plan and they executed it. We had a game plan and we did not execute ours well, and the first thing you always do is look at yourself as a coach and that’s the first thing I’ll do is look at myself as a coach and see where I can get better and then we get back to the drawing board.”
