Bearden soccer coach Ryan Radcliffe and Farragut soccer coach Ray Dover definitely have their fingers on the pulse of their sport.
They head up two of the state’s most elite programs.
But neither knew that the TSSAA Board of Control would be making changes to the game’s overtime procedures on Wednesday.
“It’s almost the same as when they moved us out of the district (that Farragut is in),” said Radcliffe. “They don’t give you any lead-up emails saying, ‘Hey, we’re thinking about this or this is on the table.’
“It just happens.”
