In news that is in no way surprising to those around the program, Garrett Copeland officially took over as the head baseball coach at Farragut on Monday, June 3.
The 33-year-old Copeland is a longtime assistant to former coach Matt Buckner, who led the Admirals to seven state titles in his 15 seasons (2010-2024). Buckner retired following the 2024 season.
Copeland became an assistant at Farragut in 2013 and has been a part of five championship runs (2014, 2019, 2022-24).
