Farragut safety Tanner Corum received the first 5Star Preps Player of the Week presented by Smithbilt Homes.
Corum intercepted three passes during Farragut’s 34-0 Week 1 win over Bradley Central.
The senior, who’s also a receiver for the Admirals, has committed to Southern Illinois.
He received 850 votes, which were good for 41.8 percent of the votes. It didn’t hurt that his cousin, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, gave him a shoutout on Twitter.
Everybody go vote for my cousin!!! 3 picks in week 1 of his senior year!! @tannercorum8 https://t.co/TnzdNYjurW
