As the scorching summer forges on, Farragut’s Elsa Morrison is doing what she does best.
Playing softball.
Lots of it.
The senior catcher/shortstop returned to Knoxville from Colorado on July 7 after spending a week of training there with the USA U-18 team.
Morrison leaves this Friday (July 19) for Indiana, where her travel team, the Texas Bombers U-18 Gold, will spend a week playing for the national championship.
Then she returns home and prepares for one of the biggest tournaments of her career, playing for the USA U-18 team in the World Cup Qualifier in Dallas in August.
