The rain never let up and neither did Christian Academy of Knoxville’s defense.
The combination worked wonders for the Warriors on Friday, washing away any lingering anguish from the previous week with a determined 9-7 victory at Grace Christian.
A first-half safety and Ryan Degges’ 3-yard touchdown run early the fourth quarter sufficed for CAK (7-2, 3-2 Division II-AA East), which bounced back in impressive fashion from last Friday’s 37-34 loss to Boyd-Buchanan.
