The high school football program at Knoxville Catholic is certainly well accustomed to welcoming in the sons of University of Tennessee football coaches and of some former Vol players.
In recent years, players like Amari Rodgers, Kaden Martin and Cade and Cooper Mays come to mind — Rodgers and Martin being the sons of former Tennessee QB Tee Martin and the Mays brothers being the sons of former Tennessee lineman Kevin Mays.
Butch Jones, who coached Tennessee from 2013-2017, had sons play at Catholic.
That’s just naming a few.
Now, former Vols punter Dustin Colquitt’s family is moving back to Knoxville.
And his two oldest sons practiced this week with the Fighting Irish.
