The CAK golf teams took home the team and individual hardware Monday from the Division II-A East District 1 Tournament at Three Ridges.
Sophomore Kaleb Wilson headlined the performance with a sparkling round of 7-under-par 65, earning himself district medalist honors for the second consecutive season and also leading the Warriors to a 14-shot victory.
While Wilson’s 65 proved tops, Berean Christian’s Cooper Hayes finished second at 68. Webb’s Reece Britt took third (72).
CAK finished at 9-over 297 as a team, eclipsing Webb (311) and Grace Christian (334) for the title.
The Lady Warriors wound up with a 47-shot win. Allie Cooper carded a 78 to earn medalist honors. She and Kate Faulkner gave CAK a 162 mark that bested Webb (209), TKA (215) and Berean Christian (216).
The Division II-A East Region Tournament will be played Monday, Sept. 23, at Three Ridges.
