OAK RIDGE — Fulton captured the Region 3 championship and ended years of frustration against Oak Ridge Thursday night in a battle of the state’s top-two ranked 5A teams.
The No. 1-ranked Falcons, led by the pass-catch tandem of quarterback Xavier Malone and wide receiver JaShaun Fenderson, took the Region 3-5A crown with a 21-13 win on Blankenship Field.
