ALCOA – Gatlinburg-Pittman’s Maliyah Glasper had revenge on her mind Wednesday night and she and her teammates got it.
The sophomore guard came off the bench and scored 22 points as the Lady Highlanders beat host Alcoa 68-53 for the Region 1-AA championship and home-court advantage in Saturday’s state sectional round.
G-P avenged a 53-50 loss to Alcoa in last week’s District 2-AA title game.
