The Gibbs volleyball team swept a best two-of-three match against host Karns 25-16, 25-17 on Monday afternoon.
The Lady Eagles upped their season mark to 19-9 by taking the non-district affair. Karns dropped to 3-9.
Tamia Wilson paced Gibbs with eight digs and seven kills. Ashley Neubert tallied eight assists. Megan Turner contributed seven digs.
Cecily Clevenger provided the Lady Beavers with eight assists and seven digs. Shelbi Shannon dug out 10 balls and aced two serves. Emma Leonard had four kills, three digs and an ace.
Gibbs vies to improve its District 4-AA record to 6-0 with a visit to Grainger County on Tuesday afternoon at 6. Karns trips to Oak Ridge.
