Juniors Aaron Rinehart and Connor Price contributed rounds of 74 and 76, respectively. And senior Hayden Ott rounded the total with a 79, as Farragut clipped runner-up Halls by only six shots.
Three individual players secured spots in next week’s state tournament, and they were: John Estep (Oak Ridge, 71), Carson Kammann (West, 72) and Andrew Conner (Lenoir City, 74).
Lexanne Halama, the 2019 5Star Preps Masters champion, followed her medalist-performance at the district tournament by winning medalist honors in region with a 2-under 70. Her mark, with Lindsay Ott’s and Aynsleigh Martin’s 80s, gave Farragut a 6-over 150 team total.
Maryville finished runner-up at 160; however, all three of its players — Ainsley Simms (78), Madison Atchley (82) and Bevin Harrill (84) — qualified for next week’s state tournament as individuals.
