RUTLEDGE – Senior-led Grainger got a big lift from junior Audrey Stratton on Saturday against Alcoa in the state Class AA sectionals.
In fact, Stratton may have delivered a season-saving performance in the second half as the Lady Grizzlies won a 38-35 decision to qualify for the state tournament for the third season in a row.
“We’re going to Murfreesboro and looking to win three games,” said Grainger coach Rusty Bishop.
