It may seem counterintuitive that a team led by a player with standout statistics to be primarily described as unselfish.
But that’s the primary reason Halls boys soccer coach Eldon English feels his team has been successful this season.
That team mentality was on display Thursday as the Red Devils took home the District 4-AA Tournament title with a 3-0 win over Fulton at home.
“These guys are the most unselfish team I’ve ever coached,” English said.
