MURFREESBORO — Bri Blair and Halls live to play another day — or at least a couple of more hours.
The Lady Red Devils,, who downed Springfield 2-0 Thursday afternoon in the loser’s bracket of the Class AAA softball tournament, have a quick turnaround before facing Dyer County in another elimination game.
Halls (32-7) and Dyer County (28-14-1) square off at 4 p.m. Wednesday, just two hours after the Lady Red Devils dispatched Springfield.
“I’m going to get some Chick-fil-A,” said Blair, who turned in yet another pitching masterpiece.
