Despite heavy losses to graduation, Hardin Valley coach Mike Potter hopes momentum from a strong finish to the 2019 football season carries over to this fall.
After starting 1-6 a year ago, the Hawks reeled off three consecutive wins to finish fifth in Region 1-6A.
The ending was impressive.
After knocking off Jefferson County, HVA smashed rival Farragut 33-6 and hammered Morristown West 63-14 to cap an up-and-down season.
